4-0 weekend for Bantam AAA Braves

The Red Deer Bantam AAA Braves were a perfect 4-0 this past weekend.   

The Braves started by defeating Camrose 12-2 Saturday afternoon on the strength of home runs from Levi Hammond and Dakota Clubine.

Also on Saturday, the Braves blasted the South Jasper Place Jays 17-2. Home run for Red Deer came from Heath Hachkowski and Dakota Clubine.  Gabe Simon hit two doubles and scored 4 RBIs.

Sunday, Red Deer outscored Camrose by a 10-7 score. Four pitchers combined for the win while Dakoka Clubine blasted a home run for Red Deer.

Later Sunday, the Braves beat South Jasper Place 12-4. Ben Franz and Adam Turgeon each hit home runs, Grayson Borchers had 2 RBIs and Josh Hilts hit two doubles.

Next games for the Bantam AAA Braves are this weekend at Great Chief Park – Saturday, May 19 at 12:00 against South Jasper Place Jays, and 6 p.m. vs St. Albert Cardinals, Sunday May 20 at 10 a.m. vs St. Albert Cardinals and 4 p.m. vs South Jasper Place Jays.

The DQ Pee Wee were 2-0 last weekend, defeating the St. Albert Cardinals 19-12 and the Calgary Jr. Dinos 12-1.

The Red Deer Midget AAA Braves were 3-0 last weekend, topping the Calgary Bandits 11-7 Saturday morning and the Calgary Cubs 20-5 Saturday afternoon before finishing with a 9-5 win over East Central on Sunday.
