Mosquito AA Braves go 3-0 on opening weekend

The Red Deer Lock and Safe Mosquito AA Braves hosted the opening weekend of league play at Hunting Hills High School this past weekend.

Red Deer beat Rocky Mountain House 22-12 in their opening game before downing Okotoks 14-4 and Strathmore 22-12.

Isaac Nakonechny led the way on offense on the weekend with two triples and a home run.  Jayden Lachman and Tyson DeZutter combined on the mound to shut down a strong Okotoks offense in game two.

Game three saw the team fall behind 7-0, and then 10-2 only to come back and win 22-12 in five innings due to the 10 run mercy rule.
