Redwater man’s death ruled a homicide

REDWATER- RCMP and the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) are investigating the death of a 25-year old Redwater man as a homicide after an autopsy this morning at the Medical Examiner’s officer in Edmonton.

On March 31, Gunner Christie was found seriously injured inside a pickup in the ditch on a rural road.

His autopsy showed that he had been shot.

No arrests have been made but RCMP investigators say the shooting was not a random event.
