‘Sound of Music’ not so sweet: Man charged after concert-goer punched after show
WINNIPEG — A man has been charged after a concert-goer was attacked in what police are calling a case of road rage following a showing of “The Sound of Music” in Winnipeg.
Police say a 63-year-old man was being picked up after the show at the Centennial Concert Hall on Jan. 6 and was trying to get into the back of an SUV.
They say that’s when someone got out of a Mercedes-Benz and punched him in the upper body.
Officers who met with the victim were told the Mercedes was trying to merge through traffic from behind.
