Man killed in early morning crash near Hanna

HANNA – RCMP were called to a single vehicle crash on secondary Highway 586, northeast of Hanna on Thursday just after 7 a.m.

A pickup had gone off the road, rolled and landed upside down in a creek.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 50-year-old man from the Little Smoky area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe that the crash occurred hours earlier, but went undiscovered until the morning.

The man’s name will not be released.
