ASYLUM SEEKERS FLOOD OVER BORDER INTO QUEBEC: Quebec Immigration Minister Kathleen Weil says there has been a surge in the number of people illegally crossing from the U.S. seeking asylum. Weil told a news conference Thursday that in the past couple of weeks roughly 150 people are coming over the border each day. She says Quebec has already received 6,500 asylum seekers as of the end of June.
