The City of Red Deer is shutting down one of its walking trails for some power line work.
The trail in the Michael O’Brien Wetland near 55 Street will close this week.
The east/west trail adjacent to 55 Street will be closed from Cardinal Street up to 30 Avenue starting Wednesday morning and will remain closed for up to five days.
City officials say the trail will be reopened for the weekend.
