RDC and Collegiate Sports Medicine announce partnership
Red Deer College and Collegiate Sports Medicine have teamed up to open a multi-disciplinary clinic within the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.
The 2,600 sqaure foot retail and clinic space will provide opportunities and access to student learning and mentorship in the areas of entrepreneurship, business, kinesiology and therapeutic medicine.
“We are delighted to be able to work more closely with Collegiate Sports Medicine,” says Linda Moore Martin, Dean of the School of Health Sciences. “This partnership will allow for greater experiential and practicum opportunities for students, collaborations between faculty and staff at Collegiate and will enhance therapy services available to student athletes and the sports community.”
The partnership came about after the college expressed interest in developing partnerships which would benefit the needs of students, staff and community members who visit the school annually.
