Arrest made following location of stolen identity documents

On May 16 a Red Deer man and woman were arrested without incident after city Mounties executed a search warrant on a home in Normandeau.

RCMP seized stolen identification as well as credit and debit cards in the names of multiple victims. A motorcycle stolen May 5 from Red Deer was also located at the property.

Methamphetamine was also seized during the search of the residence on Nichols Crescent.

Michael Edward Labar, 40, faces three counts of identity theft and one count of possession of stolen property. Labar will appear in court in Red Deer on June 20.
