Blackfalds RCMP trying to locate the owner of an urn

BLACKFALDS – RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of property found abandoned near Range Road 283 and Township Road 375A in Red Deer County.

Mounties were contacted on May 7 by a citizen regarding items found in the area.

They included an urn, with cremated ashes, however there were no identifying marks to assist police with determining who it belongs to.

Other items left in the area included a washer/dryer and articles of clothing.
