Sinkhole forces closure of road near Omniplex

The discovery of a sinkhole near the Arc Bark Park has caused the closure of a roadway.
The hole was discovered on 49th Avenue Thursday evening, forcing the road to be closed and barricaded between Arc Bark Park and the day use park.
Town officials say a thorough assessment is being done & appropriate mitigation will be undertaken.
Detour signage has been posted and will remain until repairs are completed.
