A water leak in Red Deer’s Eastview neighbourhood has resulted in 16 residences being put under a Boil Water Advisory.

The advisory was issued February 5 with all affected residences being given hand-delivered notices of the advisory.

According to the City’s website, the affected residences are just north of 41 Street along 37 Avenue near Joseph Welsh Elementary School.

Officials say the Boil Water Advisory will remain in place until water tests confirm no contamination.
