No injuries after car crashes into Safety City
Luckily, no one was injured in a single vehicle crash in east Red Deer this morning.
It was at about 7:15 a.m. when a woman driving an SUV crashed along 30 Avenue at Safety City.
Witnesses told rdnewsNOW the vehicle was travelling at a low rate of speed when the crash took place. They say the woman was turning onto northbound 30 Avenue from 55 Street when she missed the turn, crossing the southbound lanes and entering the ditch before hitting the fence.
An RCMP officer at the scene said the woman, believed to be in her late 40s to early 50s, suffered a medical incident that caused her to lose control of her vehicle.
