Thompson races to another checkered flag at Mid-Ohio

Parker Thompson continues to make himself noticed in the racing world.

At the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course over the weekend, Thompson grabbed a second place finish on day one before turning in a checkered flag performance on Sunday.

The 19-year-old has now won three of the last four events on the USF2000 series, with just two races to go next month in New York. He sits third in the standings.

Next up, Thompson has eyes on the third event of the F1600 Super Series, which is August 11 to 13 in Quebec. Thompson swept the first five races of that four weekend summer-long competition back in June.
