Mounties investigating armed robbery of Winfield residence

Mounties are investigating after thieves robbed a residence with firearms just south of Winfield.
It was on the afternoon of May 18 when police were called about three males entering an unlocked residence.
Police say upon entering the home the men were surprised to see that a female was inside, and she was threatened with firearms but was not harmed. The suspects then stole various objects, including two firearms and fled in a white truck.
The victim described the suspects as Caucasian, medium built and in their 20s or early 30s. She was able to notice that one of them had a tattoo on his right jaw. Two of the men were wearing masks.
