Three suspects sought after Red Deer home invasion

Red Deer RCMP would like the public’s help to identify three male suspects involved in a recent targeted home invasion.

Police say it was on Jan. 31 at around 7:20 p.m. when members responded to a 911 call about a home invasion in 58A Avenue in Riverside Meadows.

Two victims were located with minor injuries, and the culprits believed responsible had fled prior to police arrival. The male suspects allegedly stole the homeowner’s orange Honda Element and left in it, as well as in a white truck.

Investigation determined that the trio of males gained access to the house with help from one female, who was an occupant at the residence. The males were not known to the victims, and they were wearing masks when they assaulted the victims and stole a bank card. The males were also allegedly in possession of guns.

The female accomplice, Marie-Line Lariviere, 54, is charged with one count of robbery with a firearm. She has been released from custody and is to appear in court again March 1.

On Feb. 1, RCMP recovered the Honda Element in an apartment building parking lot at 59 Avenue and 60 Street, also in Riverside Meadows.

The Red Deer RCMP continue to investigate this incident and are seeking any information about the identities of the three males involved.

Anyone who may have seen any activity related to the orange Honda Element before it was recovered is asked to call the Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
