Over 1,500 people rally in Grande Prairie in support of oil and gas industry

GRANDE PRAIRIE- It was an eventful day at Muskoseepi Park in Grande Prairie on Sunday, as crowds of people began to show up around noon for the Support Oil and Gas Rally. 

The local group who planned the rally says the event was meant to highlight Canada's oil crisis, and Bill C-69.

150 girls take part in first Hockey Alberta Female Hockey Day

By all accounts, the first ever Hockey Alberta Female Hockey Day was a resounding success.

The event, which culminated with a CWHL game between the Calgary Inferno and Toronto Furies, was held Saturday at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre in Red Deer.

Outdoor ice surfaces in Red Deer are ready to enjoy, including at Bower Ponds.

The City reminds skaters that they should be wearing helmets at all times.

Hockey is not permitted at Bower Ponds, nor at the city's newest outdoor ice facility.

Calgary Inferno excited to continue growing female game with CWHL matchup in Red Deer

Some of the country’s best women’s hockey players are going to be in Red Deer this weekend for a fun-filled day featuring the female game.

On Saturday, Hockey Alberta presents Female Hockey Day at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.
