Festival of Trees raises $1.1 million for Red Deer Regional Hospital

Officials with the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation (RDRHF) have announced this year’s Festival of Trees has raised $1.1 million.

Development permit approved for supervised consumption services

A development permit chock full of conditions, including a seven-year sunset clause, has been approved for a new supervised consumption services (SCS) site in Red Deer.

Recreation and Culture Grants program increasing in Lacombe

Organizations planning on applying for a recreation or culture grant in the City of Lacombe next year will now have a little more funding to draw from.

The City of Lacombe has announced that funding for the 2019 Recreation and Culture Grant program has been increased to $12,500.
