Adrianna LaGrange is seeking re-election to the Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools Board of Trustees.
I have been happily married to my husband Darren for 33 years and we have seven children and three grandchildren. We farm east of Red Deer and manage the trucking of a larger hog farm cooperative.
I graduated with an honours diploma in Rehabilitative Studies and worked at Michener Services.
I have been a Trustee with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools for 10 years, serving in various capacities including three years as chair of the board. I am the current President of the Alberta Catholic School Trustees’ Association (ACSTA) and the Vice-President of the Canadian Catholic School Trustees’ Association (CCSTA).
I believe in servant leadership and have spent my life giving back to the community. I continue to feel called to the vocation of trusteeship. Called by God, I hope to serve by positively contributing to Catholic education locally and beyond.
I would like to see further discussion/advocacy occur in the areas of child mental health/wellness, funding for our most vulnerable students, capital expenditures to alleviate space issues in our Division and improved consultation regarding the new curriculum being developed provincially.
I feel it is a great privilege to be elected as a school board trustee. I am committed to honouring that trust with dedicated service and a lot of hard work.
