Murray Hollman is seeking a second term on the Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools Board of Trustees.

Born and raised in Red Deer, I attended Maryview School, St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School, and École Secondaire Notre Dame High School.

I have always felt a strong connection to my faith and community at St. Mary’s Parish. I’ve been a member of the Parish council, Knights of Columbus and served many years as a Eucharistic Minister. Also, I am Senior QA/QC Inspector for Jacobs at DOW Prentiss.

After much prayer and discernment, I followed the call to run as a Catholic School Trustee. I have been honoured to serve in this capacity for the last term, and am seeking a second term to continue the work that our Board has undertaken. I have enjoyed this valuable work, and promise to continue to serve the families of Red Deer Catholic with passion and dedication.

With our continued growth in the Division, we are experiencing serious space constraints within our schools. Our classrooms continue to see ever increasing diverse student needs. I believe we need the proper supports in these classrooms for our students, teachers, and staff. I believe that we need to ensure that our Catholic schools are not taken for granted, and that they continue to serve all those who choose to come through our doors. I will continue to fight for fully funded Catholic schools in our province.
