Christmas is just around the corner and unique gifts are always hard to find.

This year, you can give the gift of learning, as RDC’s 2019 Summer Camps and Series Summer Arts School are now open for registration.

Summer Camps will be offered from July 2 until August 23, and there are opportunities for youth in a wide variety of areas including sport, science, languages, applied technology, visual art, film, game design, music, cooking, theatre and animation.

Day camps are offered for anyone wishing to return home every night, while overnight camps allow teens the chance to spend a week living in Red Deer College residences.

RDC’s Summer Camps are led by exceptional instructors who are experts in their fields and offer campers the opportunity to experience first-rate labs, studios and facilities.

From July 8 to August 2, Series Summer Arts School will welcome adult participants from across central Alberta and beyond.

With 78 different courses across a range of artistic genres, adults of all skill levels – from professional artists to those looking for personal growth – will enjoy the five-daylong workshops.

Participants stay at RDC’s Residences, which allows them to enjoy a variety of activities including instructor presentations by professional artists, open studios in the evenings, open model sessions, and a variety of social activities.

For those looking for a single-day option, Taste of Series offers 12 different courses for artistic expression on July 20.

RDC’s 2019 Summer Camps and Series Summer Arts School are now open for registration.
