INNISFAIL-  It’s that time of year again.

The Christmas season is fast approaching and the Innisfail RCMP will be holding this year’s Charity Checkstop on December 8 between 10 a.m  and 3 p.m.

 The annual Charity Checkstop has proven to be increasingly more successful every year, this will be the 23rd. 

RCMP members and volunteers, as well as lots of flashing red and blue lights will be set up on 50 St. between 48 and 49 Ave.

Donations will be accepted from traffic that is both eastbound and westbound.

Safety Bear will also be handing out candy canes.

This year’s Charity Checkstop will once again be accepting new clothing, food, new toys, and cash. 

The charitable organizations this year are the Food Bank, Christmas Bureau, and the Women’s Outreach Society.
