School Bus Safety Week

Oct 22, 2018 | 5:17 PM

Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools in conjunction with the Alberta Student Transportation Advisory Council (ASTAC) will be recognizing School Bus Safety Week from October 21 – 27, 2018.

This year’s theme is “the School Bus is a Bully Free Zone.” We want to provide all students with a safe and comfortable journey to and from school. The school bus is an extension of our classrooms and we continue to ensure our spaces are safe and caring environments.
We are asking parents/guardians to discuss using positive behaviour with their child when riding the school bus.

“It is extremely important for each student to be safe and have a respectful attitude on the school bus. Students play an important role to keep the school bus a safe. At Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools, we strive to ensure that our students all have a safe journey to and from school,” said Safety and Training Coordinator, Kelli Pickett in the Transportation Department at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.
