Ross Street Patio being removed for the winter

Oct 1, 2018 | 11:29 AM

Starting October 3, City of Red Deer crews will begin work to remove the Ross Street patio in preparation for winter.

The right lane on Ross Street, west-bound from Veterans’ Park to 50 Avenue will be closed for a short time on Thursday, October 4, to remove the patio features. The barricades will remain in place to accommodate an event on October 6. On Tuesday, October 9, west-bound traffic on Ross will be down to one lane between Veterans’ Park to 50 Avenue.

Motorists can expect delays and are asked to use alternate routes if possible. Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones, and obey all signs and flag persons. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated.
