Paving crews set for a busy weekend in Red Deer

There will be road closures in the City of Red Deer this weekend as crews complete paving.

49 Street between 45 Avenue and 48 Avenue downtown will close Saturday and Sunday while paving is completed.

Paving is scheduled to start Saturday, September 29 at 7 a.m. and will continue until completion, likely Sunday afternoon. Traffic will be detoured to 55 Street while paving is occurring.
46 Avenue between 49 Street and Ross (50) Street will be closed during paving as well. 

In the north, 49 Avenue between 78 and 79 Street will close Sunday while paving is completed. 

Paving is scheduled to start Sunday, September 30 at 7 a.m. and will continue until completion.
Access to businesses however will be maintained through flag control.
