World-renowned Ornithologist coming to Red Deer

The Kerry Wood Nature Centre in Red Deer is hosting a special presentation from world-renowned Ornithologist Dr. David Bird who has led the campaign to get the Gray Jay renamed the Canada Jay (and make the Canada Jay our national bird).

Described as an engaging and entertaining speaker. Dr. Bird will be doing a special presentation about bird behaviour at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre starting at 7:00 p.m. 

His Red Deer stop is part of an Alberta tour and co-sponsored by RDRN, Kerry Wood Nature Centre and Ellis Bird Farm.
