Spillway gates at Dickson Dam to be replaced

The spillway gates at Dickson Dam are approaching the end of their life cycle and will be replaced with construction starting July 3rd and anticipated to end in early December 2018.

During the replacement of the spillway gates, there will be several full and partial closures of Township Road 360.

There will be approximately 20 two-day full closures of Township Road 360 starting on August 2 and continuing into December.

These roadway closures will extend from the parking lot at the west end of Dickson Dam to the parking lot at the east end of the dam. Both parking lots will remain open.

During these periods, the road will be closed from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for two consecutive days.

The road will reopen for public use overnight.

A detour will be in place to the east side of the dam via Highway 54.

At least one lane of the roadway will remain open to traffic outside of the closure period so prepare for single lane alternating traffic.

There is no impact to Highway 54 or 766 at this time.
