Rec Centre outdoor pool opens earlier than expected

RED DEER- The Recreation Centre’s outdoor pool will open on Tuesday, May 29 with the following schedule:

– 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Lane Swim
– 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lane Swim
– 3:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Public Swim
– 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Lane Swim

These public swimming hours will continue weekdays through the month of June.

The outdoor pool is located at the Recreation Centre (4501 – 47 A Avenue) and features the following:

– 50 meter pool for both public and lane swimming
– one and three meter diving boards
– a children’s play area with spray features
– a large deck with chairs for lounging
