Innisfail RCMP host community information session on crime prevention

INNISFAIL- On May 16 Innisfail RCMP will be presenting crime prevention information at the Innisfail Public Library starting at 6 p.m.

This CPTED presentation (crime prevention through environmental design) is an approach to crime prevention based on principles that can be applied easily and effectively. 

The goal of the design is to use physical space to impact criminal decisions and behaviour, while improving safety, productivity and profit. 

This program has both residential and commercial applications and works toward removing the opportunity for crime to occur. 

There is no cost to attend the information session.
