Olds Grizzlys acquire Red Deer native Josh Zinger

The Olds Grizzlys have acquired 2001-born forward Josh Zinger from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons in exchange for future considerations.

Zinger, who is from Red Deer, split last season between the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL) and Fort McMurray, where he collected 13 points in 33 games.

“We are super excited to add Josh to our organization. Josh has explosive speed, plays in all situations and high character that will add to the fabric of our dressing room,” says Grizzlys GM/head coach Scott Atkinson.

The Grizzlys will open AJHL exhibition play on Friday, Oct. 9 versus the Calgary Canucks.
