Diabetes Canada seeking the public’s assistance for donations

The reusable goods donation program through Diabetes Canada is once again seeking the public’s assistance. 

They are looking for donations of gently used clothing and household items in the Red Deer Area. 

Proceeds from donations support diabetes research, education programs, services and advocacy for the 11 million Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes. 

More than 100 million pounds of clothing are diverted from landfills annually thanks to Diabetes Canada. In this way, donations not only benefit those living with diabetes or prediabetes, but also the environment. 

Diabetes Canada is asking the public again to consider donating or sharing this information with their friends and family. 

If you have reusable clothing and cloth items, simply bag them and drop them in to one of the many blue clothing donation bins located in any one of the locations listed below:
