Dreeshen weighs in on House of Commons issues, LNG project approval

September 29, 2016 - 9:35am

The House of Commons resumed sitting last week. There have been two key issues that have been highlighted by our caucus so far.

The first is the continued entitlement of the Liberals abusing your tax dollars. The moving expense, limo rides, costs of photos and high end hotels has been a consistent reminder of Liberal entitlements.

Dreeshen Checks In as Fall Session of Parliament Gets Underway

September 21, 2016 - 5:38pm

The House of Commons returned to regular business on September 19th.

During the summer I was able to speak with hundreds of residents in Red Deer – Mountain View and some issues kept coming up time and again. Those key issues are jobs and the economy, combatting the proposed Liberal tax increases, and stopping the reckless spending and out of control deficits.

Based on your feedback and the feedback of every day Canadians across the country – those priorities will form the basis of our opposition in Parliament this fall.

Red Deer - Mountain View MP Recaps Busy Summer, Thanks Stephen Harper

August 30, 2016 - 10:14am

As children across the country are getting ready to return to school, it marks the end of another unpredictable Alberta summer. I have truly enjoyed the past two months in Central Alberta, where I have been able to see thousands of constituents and listen to your priorities for me to take back to Ottawa in September. I will highlight a few of those activities, but first a few words about something that was recently in the news.

Summer Update From Earl Dreeshen

July 29, 2016 - 1:43pm

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. While Parliament has risen, my colleagues and I have been hard at work in our constituencies to listen to the priorities of Canadians so we can effectively hold the government to account.

Since my last update, we wrapped up the conference in Tbilisi, Georgia with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. I was honoured to deliver three speeches on the topics of human trafficking, the energy sector and Canadas response to the 2008 financial crisis. You can see the full text of my speeches on my website at

MP Dreeshen Updates Overseas Travels, Pipelines

July 6, 2016 - 9:25am

I hope everyone enjoyed their Canada Day weekend. This was the first time since being elected that I was not able to celebrate in Central Alberta. I was asked to represent the Canadian Parliament in OSCE (Organizations for Security and Co-operation in Europe) discussions happening from July 1-5 in Tbilisi, Georgia. While I am honoured to have been chosen to take part in these important and timely international forums, I am already looking forward to spending Canada Day back at home next year as we mark Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation.
