Central Albertans of all ages had a chance on Saturday to check out some cool vehicles they normally wouldn’t get a chance to.

Race participants in this year's PCN Women's Fun Run enjoyed sunshine and warm temperatures for the annual event that once again this year will hand over proceeds to the Mustard Seed's School Lunch Program in Red Deer.

PCN Women’s Fun Run helps children in need

Well over 1,200 women and children took part in this year’s PCN Women’s Fun Run in Red Deer on Saturday and helped out a great cause at the same time.

Local school districts waiting for details on how to allocate unexpected funding

Senior leadership with Wolf Creek Public Schools and their local Teacher's Association have come together to make recommendations on how to allocate some unexpected funding from the province this year.

Officials with the City of Lacombe are concerned with ridership numbers on the BOLT Regional Transit system. Administration is now looking further into what the costs and implications would be to end the service or enhance it.
