A golfer from Red Deer County has been named the Alberta Sport Development Centre-Central (ASDC-C) Male Athlete of the Month for May.

Alex Gerrard, 14, is a grade nine student at Hunting Hills High School in Red Deer and a competitive golfer at the provincial level.

'Harley' is Red Deer RCMP Victim Services new therapy dog who will offer help and support to victims of crime or tragedy. He's a two-year-old black lab who was acquired thanks to fundraising efforts from the 2017 graduating class of École Secondaire Notre Dame High School and local corporate sponsors.
