Pride Crosswalks Repainted After Suspected Vandalism

At least one of Red Deer's two new rainbow crosswalks had to be touched up this morning, just a day after they were unveiled to the public.
On Monday afternoon, a photo surfaced showing skid marks across one of them.

Downtown Red Deer Gets Infusion of Colour to Mark Pride Week

Pride Week doesn't officially get underway until Saturday here in central Alberta, but our local Pride Society had a big unveil this morning downtown.

At Little Gaetz Avenue and Ross Street is where you'll now find Red Deer's first two rainbow crosswalks.

Team Alberta Wraps Up National Championships in Ontario

Alberta lacrosse teams had varying levels of success at national championships this past week.

Red Deer's Jackson Hall and Traford Couchman were part of the peewee squad competing in Whitby, Ontario.
