Market at Red Deer Survives First Year of Temporary Relocation

A new location for the Market at Red Deer didn't stop it from being a successful season for vendors.
 
Farmers market Manager Dennis Moffat says attendance was down 20 per cent, largely due to the move from in front of the Red Deer Arena to the Memorial Centre parking lot.

City of Red Deer Concludes Productive Week at AUMA Conference

By most accounts, it would seem representatives of the City of Red Deer had a very productive time at the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association annual conference this week in Edmonton.

Five Injured in Rollover Near Rocky Mountain House

Rocky Mountain House RCMP are investigating what caused a single-vehicle rollover northwest of town on Thursday.

Shortly before 11:30 a.m., Mounties, Clearwater Fire and EMS responded to the collision on Buster Creek Road in Clearwater County.

Simcoe-Grey Member of Parliament Kellie Leitch spoke at the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce about a wide array of issues including prosperity in Alberta.
