Government ad campaign continues push for Trans Mountain pipeline

EDMONTON- The Notley government has taken out newspapers ads across Canada saying the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion delay is costing the country 40 million dollars per day.

The ads come two weeks after the Federal Court of Appeal squashed Ottawa's approval of the project.

New Royal Alberta Museum to open in Edmonton Oct. 3

EDMONTON- The new Royal Alberta Museum is to open its doors in three weeks in downtown Edmonton to officially make it the biggest such facility in Western Canada.

Tourism Minister Ricardo Miranda says the museum will open on Oct. 3 with six days of free admission through to Oct. 8.
