Wetaskiwin’s historical Rose Country Inn destroyed by fire

WETASKIWIN- A central Alberta landmark that dates back more than a century has been destroyed by fire.
Emergency officials say the Rose Country Inn in Wetaskiwin caught fire shortly after 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
Despite help from two neighbouring fire departments, the building was engulfed in flame by 8 a.m. and partially collapsed about half an hour later.
No one was injured.
