Intricate Energy Services of Drayton Valley will be hosting a Pizza for Dollars fundraising event on March 15th to support the local Cadet Corps of Evansburg.

All of the funds raised during the event will go towards sending cadets to France in September.

During the trip, cadets will attend guided tours of Juno Beach, Sword Beach and the beaches of Normandy to participate in the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

In order to attend, each cadet has to raise $4,000.

Over the past five months, the cadets have launched several fundraising for their trip and have so far raised $17,000 of their goal of $50,000.

Members of the community are invited to the Intricate office for free pizza party on March 15th to show their support for their local cadets. For every slice eaten, Intricate will donate $5.00.

The Evansburg Army Cadets will also be at the fundraiser collecting donations and hosting a bottle drive. You can also donate through their GoFundMe account.
