Building permit values hold steady last month

A four-story base building and parking garage on 43 Street and two-story office building on Sharpe Avenue are among the significant building permits issued in Red Deer last month.
According to City officials, the total value of building permits issued in Red Deer in February checked-in at $20.2 million, down slightly from $20.5 million issued in February of 2018.
Year-to-date numbers are also lower than last year.
The latest stats reveal $40.7 million in building permits issued so far this year, down from $46.8 million issued during the first two months of 2018.
