Jardine named SJHL Coach of the Year
Lacombe native Clayton Jardine has been named the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Coach of the Year.
Jardine was hired by the Kindersley Klippers in late May 2018 as the club’s new Coach/General Manager and in his first season has guided the team to first place in their division and second overall in the SJHL with a 35-15-3-2 record.
Both the powerplay and penalty kill are ranked in the top half of the league with the Klippers scoring the second most goals with the man advantage.
Defensively, the Klippers have allowed the second fewest goals in the SJHL.
