Red Deer teen’s hair comes off during ‘Massacure’

A Red Deer teen has a lot less hair today after selflessly donating it to Children’s Wish.

Bryon Alexander took part Friday in the Hair Massacure event at West Edmonton Mall, and had all 13 inches chopped off.

His little sister Kat also donated 12 inches, while their father James — who had shorter hair — shaved his head in honour of the event.

Bryon, also a member of the Hunting Hills football squad, raised $400 prior to the event to go along with his donation of locks.
