RCMP Report February 14th – 21st

2019-02-14 @ 3:55 P.M. – Police arrested an adult male, seen walking down a Rocky Mountain House street, who was known to have outstanding warrants.  Upon being searched, drugs and paraphnalia were located. Released for a later court date. 

2019-02-14 @ 5:39 P.M. – Report of an adult male hallucinating on the Sunchild First Nation Reserve, intoxicated on drugs and alcohol. Police attended and arrested the subject who had outstanding warrants for his arrest and also meth in his possession. Charges pending.

2019-02-14 @ 10:17 P.M. – Police attended a residence in Clearwater County after receiving a 911 call. Although the call turned out to be an accidental miss dial, one adult female was arrested on outstanding warrants.

2019-02-15 @ 00:31 A.M. – Report of a male in the lobby of an apartment complex in Rocky Mountain House, causing damage and appearing under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

2019-02-15 @ 6:13 A.M. – Police recovered a stolen truck parked on the side of the road in Rocky Mountain House. It had been stolen out of Blackfalds.

2019-02-15 @ 7:57 A.M. – Police arrested a male youth on the O’Chiese First Nation Reserve after it was reported he had broken into a residence and then stole a vehicle which was parked outside. He then crashed the vehicle, fled on foot and attempted to hide from police at another residence where he was apprehended. He provided breath samples over the legal limit.

2019-02-15 @ 10:28 A.M. – Report of Fraud as suspects, who had stolen the complainant’s truck, wrote and cashed a cheque which was left in the truck.  Under investigation.

2019-02-15 @ 2:22 P.M. – Theft from a vehicle reported at residence in Rocky Mountain House. Wallet, documents, dash cam, watch and keys stolen.

2019-02-16 @ 12:40 P.M. – Report of vandalism to a vehicle parked at a residence on the O’Chiese First Nation Reserve.

2019-02-17 @ 2:21 A.M. – Report of an assault on the O’Chiese First Nation Reserve. Police attended and arrested and adult female. Charges pending

2019-02-17 @ 2:16 P.M. – Report of a heated argument which led to an assault between two individuals at a residence in Rocky Mountain House. Police attended and arrested one of the subjects who was arrested for public intoxication and released when sober. No charges laid.

2019-02-17 @ 4:31 P.M. – Report of a disturbance at a residence on the Sunchild First Nation Reserve. Police attended but the male suspect had fled the residence prior to police arrival. The adult male, who had outstanding warrants for his arrest, was located and arrested at another residence. 

2019-02-18 @ 12:04 P.M. – Theft of a black 2013 15 foot enclosed cargo trailer stolen from a worksite off of Highway 11A in Clearwater County. Gate broken into and fresh “dually” tracks seen in the snow.

2019-02-18 @ 12:42 P.M. – “Grab & Dash” reported at a Rocky Mountain House liquor store. Two males entered the store and grabbed a case of beer and two bottles of Absolute Vodka, before fleeing the store on foot. Under investigation

2019-02-18 @ 10:08 P.M. – Report of damage to storage gate and tires stolen from a Rocky Mountain House Tire shop. Broken tail light pieces found at scene along with tire tracks.

2019-02-19 @ 11:10 A.M. – Theft of four to six propane bottles stolen from a rack outside of a Rocky Mountain House Hardware store over the weekend. Lock was cut off rack. Valued at three hundred and sixty dollars.

2019-02-19 @ 12:57 P.M. – Report of damage to a lease site in Clearwater County. Appears a pickup truck with dually wheels pulling a trailer hit equipment and fencing around the wellhead.

2019-02-20 @ 1:44 P.M. – A Conservation Officer located a stolen gooseneck flat deck trailer at the entrance to a campground in Clearwater County. It had been reported stolen out of the Drayton Valley area the day before.

2019-02-20 @ 4:56 P.M. – Recovered a yellow Ford F250 pickup truck recovered on the Sunchild First Nation Reserve. It had been reported stolen from Sylvan Lake two days prior. Under investigation

2019-02-21 @ 6:27 A.M. – 911 call of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 and Highway 22 – South. A small car collided with a tractor trailer unit. The adult male driver of the severely damaged car was adamant that he didn’t want the police to attend and he refused to stay at the scene. He was apprehended and arrested a short distance down the road. It was determined that the car had been reported stolen out of Red Deer. The matter is under investigation and charges are pending.
