Feb 14, 2019 | 1:08 PM

Rocky Mountain House RCMP are looking to identify and speak with the driver of a pickup truck after a suspicious interaction was reported to police on Wednesday.

On Feb. 13, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Mounties say a female student at Pioneer Middle School was walking home on 47 Street when she observed a black Toyota extended cab pickup truck with tinted windows pull up.

The driver is alleged to have attempted to speak with the female, but she ran off and reported the incident to police.

The male driver is described as white, approximately 30 years of age, fit build, with tattoos on right arm.

RCMP point-out that school was letting out at the time, and numerous persons may have witnessed the interaction.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Rocky Mountain House RCMP at 403-845-2882 or your local police.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
