RED DEER- A bitterly cold arctic airmass continues to bring extremely cold temperatures to the province of Alberta.

The following locations set new record low temperatures on Wednesday:

Cold Lake

New Record of -38.2
Old Record of -36.3 set in 1994

High Level

New Record of -42.0
Old Record of -40.6 set in 1969
Records started in 1962 

Jasper

New Record of -36.6
Old Record of -35.6 set in 1916
Records started in 1916
