A wide-ranging list of Canadian talent has been announced for the 52° North Music + Cultural Festival at the upcoming 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer.

The group of Juno and Canadian Country Music Association award-winning artists who’ll be hitting the mainstage at the festival includes:

Alan Doyle, Ashley MacIsaac, Bif Naked, Brett Kissel, Busty & the Bass, Frannie Klein, Gord Bamford, Headstones, Kim Mitchell, K-OS, The Reklaws, Scott Helman, The Strumbellas, Trooper, Walk off the Earth and Wide Mouth Mason.

The Red Deer Symphony Orchestra will also be performing.

In all, the festival will feature over 80 Canadian music, theatre and visual artist groups, performing over 10 nights on the mainstage and community stage.

“In addition to the incredible mainstage talent, the 52° North Music + Cultural Festival features a number of theatre and visual artists groups on a community stage – providing an opportunity to really showcase local and provincial talent to visitors across the nation and for central Albertans to enjoy. Plus, the festival site features local artisans, food vendors, sponsor activations and a number of activities, such as crokicurl and skating,” said said Lyn Radford, Board Chair of the 2019 Canada Winter Games Host Society.

Details regarding the 52° North Music + Cultural Festival community stage lineup and further details on days and hours of operation are available at the end of January.
