The Village of Caroline and Clearwater County are working together to prepare plans for the long term future of the Caroline and Area community.

A Municipal Development Plan for the Village of Caroline and an Intermunicipal Development Plan for the Village and surrounding lands in the County are intended to set the desired path for future development in and around Caroline.

Draft versions of both plans are available for public review and comment on the Village of Caroline website and Clearwater County website.

On Tuesday, January 29, an open house is taking place at the Community Hall at the Caroline HUB. Two presentation and question/discussion sessions are also planned.

The open house portion will run from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with display boards available for viewing and planning staff available to answer questions or discuss the plans with you. A brief presentation about each plan followed by a question/discussion session will take place at 3:30 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m.

Comments on the draft plans are welcome form now through February 6.
