“The Rally in the Valley was just the start and our voices are getting louder,” say the organizers of another oil and gas event happening Wednesday.

The Truckers for Pipelines convoy, similar to one which rolled through Grande Prairie over the weekend, is set to converge on Nisku.

Rally Canada, the event organizer, says the convoy is letting federal politicians know Albertans have had enough of them killing the oil and gas industry and the families who depend on it.

The convoy will be starting at Blackjacks Roadhouse 2110 Sparrow Drive in Nisku meeting at 10:00 a.m. departing at 11:30 a.m. It’ll be pulling into the Town Hall Meeting Conservative Party Andrew Scheer will be attending at Ensign Drilling (2000-5th Street, Nisku) at 12:30 p.m.

Rally Canada says Drayton Valley will have somewhere over 100 trucks joining the convoy and will be joined by hundreds more from across Central Alberta and the Greater Edmonton area.
