Rocky Mountain House RCMP report for Nov 22-29

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE- RCMP have released the following report for the week of November 22-29.

2018-11-22 at 3:52 P.M. – Theft from vehicle while parked at apartment complex overnight. Small tools and documents stolen.

2018-11-22 at 5:59 P.M. – Report of a 2 vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 11, east of Condor. RCMP attended along with EMS & the Fire Department. An eastbound SUV with 5 occupants had collided head-on with a westbound semi after attempting to pass other vehicles. STARS transported one adult passenger to a hospital in Calgary while the other occupants, including 2 youths and an infant, were transported via EMS to the Red Deer Hospital. The 51 year old driver of the semi truck was uninjured. Rocky RCMP with the assistance of the RCMP Collision Analyst continue to investigate.

2018-11-23 at 1:33 A.M. – Police attended a residence on O’Chiese First Nation Reserve after a report of an assault. A man was arrested for assault and having outstanding warrants.

2018-11-23 at 1:50 A.M. – Report of an assault at a residence on O’Chiese First Nation Reserve. Police attended but the highly intoxicated victim was uncooperative. He was taken to Rocky Hospital by EMS.

2018-11-23 at 5:21 A.M. – Vehicle broken into overnight at a residence in Caroline.

2018-11-23 at 11:17 A.M. – Vehicle broken into overnight at a residence in Rocky. West Central Rebels hoodie, skateboard, and CD’s stolen. 

2018-11-23 at 8:57 P.M. – Report of trespassers at a vacant house in Rocky. Police attended and found the back door unlocked but nobody was around.

2018-11-23 at 10:12 P.M. – Report of a man causing problems at a residence in Rocky.  Mounties arrested the subject for breaching numerous conditions, assault, and mischief. He was remanded into custody for a later court date.

2018-11-24 at 1:45 A.M. – Complaint of an assault which occurred on the O’Chiese First Nation Reserve. Officers located the two suspects who were arrested and released with conditions not to have contact with the victim.

2018-11-24 at 6:05 A.M. – Report of an assault which occurred at a residence on Sunchild First Nation Reserve. Police located and arrested a woman. Charges are pending.

2018-11-24 at 10:06 A.M. – Police arrested a suspect in Rocky after it was determined that he had broken into and stolen items from several vehicles in town. He had stolen items in his possession along with meth.

2018-11-24 at 3:46 P.M. – Theft of four LED lights on a rack for a musical production valued at $1400. Stolen from Main Street Rocky.

2018-11-25 at 4:13 A.M. – Break and enter to an oil well site off the Sunchild Highway. Chain grinded off locked gate as well as office door and SeaCan containers. Under investigation.

2018-11-25 at 7:11 P.M. – 911 call of a hit and run to a vehicle parked in front of Rocky residence and pushed into complainant’s other vehicle. A silver Dodge Durango fled the scene with 1 male and 2 female occupants. The investigation continues.

2018-11-26 at 12:00 A.M. – Report of an assault at a residence in Rocky. Under investigation. Charges pending.

2018-11-26 at 10:37 A.M. – Report of a stolen credit card being used at a Rocky business. Under investigation.

2018-11-26 at 10:41 P.M. – An man, who was intoxicated and high on meth, was arrested after he jumped in front of an ambulance on Highway 11. A violation ticket was issued and the man was released when sober.

2018-11-27 at 12:00 P.M. – Theft of a credit card stolen from a business in Nordegg. Card cancelled.

2018-11-27 at 5:52 P.M. – Report of an erratic, dangerous driver who almost struck the complainant head-on at Hwy 11A & Hwy 11. Police attended and arrested a woman for impaired driving. She blew well over twice the legal limit. Charges are pending.

2018-11-27 at 6:25 P.M. – Report of youth on the roof of a Rocky business on main street. Police attended and spoke to the youth who were given a warning.

2018-11-27 at 8:23 P.M. – Report of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance at a residence on O’Chiese First Nation Reserve. Police attended and arrested the individual for failing to comply with conditions and having six outstanding warrants for his arrest.

2018-11-27 at 10:25 P.M. – Mailboxes broken into on Range Road 4-3, south of Rainy Creek Road.

2018-11-28 at 4:31 P.M. – Complaint of a male pointing a firearm at another male at a residence in Rocky. Under investigation.

2018-11-28 at 8:33 P.M. – Complaint of an intoxicated man at a residence in Clearwater County, trying to fight with other residents. Police attended and arrested the individual who was released when sober.
