In the spirit of Giving Tuesday on November 27, officials with the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum (ASHFM) in Red Deer have announced plans to freshen up their Adaptive Sports gallery.

As a result, ASHFM officials are inviting Albertans to help them in showcasing inclusivity found in the sporting community, with the Adaptive Sports gallery to shift its focus to both the Paralympics and Special Olympics.

According to officials, the gallery will highlight some of the important events and people in the development and evolution of adaptive sports.

It will also include information panels and two large screen monitors to show video clips of different adaptive sporting events.

In addition, the Adaptive Sports gallery will also highlight some of the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame Honoured Members for their contributions to adaptive sports, both as athletes and builders.

The exhibit is expected to be fully functional with captions and audio and highlight that sports are inclusive for everyone.

Giving Tuesday is a movement for everyone who wants to give back to a charity of their choice.
